Well this is always not exactly what a girl is looking for to get to know someone but I guess it is a start. I have no children although I love kids and getting down on thier level. I Love kids, and especially love getting to spoil my niece and nephew!! The family just keeps growing with more to be born in May and June. I like to go out and have a good time, but also like quiet nights at home. I do like to go out for a few drinks from time to time, but not often; I don't smoke. I enjoy taking walks at the lake, shopping, and have started reading. I enjoy going to brewers games and, in the winter, playing in the snow.

I have a passion for motorcylces and last spring decided that with my 50th birthday approching soon I should do something about it. I did get my motorcyle license last summer and realized I need a lot of practice before I can ride on the street without hurting myself or someone else. With spring approching I shall try to improve my skills, hopefully!

What kind of a "match" would I be, you ask? I'm a very good listener. I pay attention to the things that people are telling me, whether in a relationship, at work, with friends, etc. I'm also very empathetic and have a good "emotional intelligence". I am usually pretty understanding/observant to what is happening and can read between the lines of what's being said. If someone's having a bad day, I'm pretty good at deciphering what's needed (do they want to talk about it, do they want me to leave them alone, etc). I'm very appreciative and thankful for the little things. If someone does me a favor or does something nice for me, I don't just take it for granted. I really take notice and can realize a good thing when I have one. I'm a very dedicated and loyal individual--to the woman I'm dating, to my friends and family, to my job, etc. I think these are all important things in any sort of relationship.

I love to go out and about, be active, and be entertained. Because of my current job, I essentiall live "in the middle of nowhere", so most of my entertainment comes on the weekends. Of course, I'll go out to dinner, go to a movie, participate in bar trivia, etc, when it's possible. But there's not a lot of excitement in good old Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Whenever it's possible, I head out of town on the weekend. I frequently head down to Madison, Wisconsin to visit friends from college or head down to Racine, Wisconsin to spend some time with my parents. I never used to think a long distance relationship could work out, but because I've grown used to weekend travelling, it's now something I could see happening. For entertainment, I enjoy going to movies, going to sports events, going to concerts, going to comedy clubs/shows, bowling, mini golfing, karaoke, going to theater performances, etc.

I am a little reserved until getting to know people for the first time. After that, I enjoy opening up and revealing myself. I am a bit of a thinker. I have close friends that I enjoy haning with when time permits a trip to Chicago or Milwaukee. I am adventurous. I am apt to take a three hour drive to Chicago at eleven on a Friday evening to see friends.
