Sheboygan Wisconsin Restaurants
Wisconsin is known for its cheese, but three pizzerias in Sheyboygan - area serve some of the best pizzas decorated with fresh mozzarella. These cosy restaurants use locally produced and fresh ingredients and offer exceptional flavours, from wood-fired pizzas to artisanal cheeses. The Friday roast is held every second Friday of the month, as is the world-famous Wisconsin Cheese Sandwich ($5.50).
Cajun pizzas contain cajune - seasoned, and wings can be ordered in quantities of up to 100. A popular option is taco pizza, served with pizza sauce and baked with mozzarella. The restaurant serves a wide range of pizza toppings, from fried mozarella to breaded mushrooms, chicken wings and more.
We ordered the burrata e zucca, which contained chopped tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, garlic and basil sauce and when it came out of the oven, it was topped with a generous dollop of red wine sauce and a dash of olive oil. For the main course, Shelly chose a whiting fillet, breaded in lemon - parsley butter and pan-fried. We dug into the Marsala beef, including beef braised in red wine reduction and caramelised onions.
Philippe also had our favourite treats in different flavours, and as Shelly had an eye on the starter, we decided to take something home to try it out. We opted for the carrot mousse with Moroccan flair and Philippe had his favorite of the small treats with different flavors, the pomegranate and the lemon-parsley tart.
The restaurant and pub Sprecher's is locally owned and operated and uses local and fresh ingredients in the kitchen. The locally run café proudly serves fair trade and organic coffee and tea, and has set itself the goal of making everything from scratch and finding the right balance between quality and sustainability for its customers. The menu includes freshly prepared breads and desserts daily, as well as a wide selection of salads, pasta, sandwiches, salads and pastries.
Rendez Vous on Michigan Avenue is a traditional and authentic French bistro - fair and an exceptional addition to the restaurants in Sheboygan.
